Our promise to Equitable Care

We serve a varied patient population, and our residency package and clinic strive to deliver equitable care for every person who walks through our doors. We have created services and developed initiatives envisioned to benefit groups usually relegated. Please mention the faculty bios to learn more about opportunities for residents to partake in these activities.

The ACGME credits the program with Osteopathic Recognition status. We are a community-based program allied with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our ability and residents originally hail from all over the US, but to warn you, over 50% of our alumnae stay in our instant area and 70% stay in North Carolina. Once you get here, you may discover it hard to leave!

Applying to Our Residency Program

Our package will offer virtual interviews only to create consistency and decrease bias during the 2024-2025 year.

Our applicant interviews will be conducted from October to December 2024. We will complete the final review of requests in ERAS no later than November 3rd. The final meeting date offered will be December 17th.

We will offer a second look choice after our interview season is shut, though applicants will be accountable for any related travel costs to attend in person.

The Family Medicine Residency package at Novant Health—Wilmington will use the gesturing process for the 2024-2025 staffing season. As you see where you would like to interview, please plan to signal the agendas you are most interested in, irrespective of prior communication or clinical experience with the program.

Our program will use the signs to offer interviews only, not for the following ranking. All interviews will be virtual, but candidates can visit our location for an informal opinion of the program.
